"Epic" New Zealand Adventure 2022

Majestic Princess Majestic Princess


It has been a little over a year since our last adventure to Europe. As soon as we got home we started planning for this year's adventure and boy is it a doozy and we won't be alone! Our partners in this adventure are going to be our good friends Bob & Joyce Childre (aka Riff & Raff), who are driving their motorhome from their home in FL and will join us in AZ in about 2 weeks. From here we will travel to San Pedro CA to board the Majestic Princess and cruise to New Zealand for 21 days. We'll then pickup our rental car in Auckland and travel the north and south islands for 26 days. We will then catch a flight from Christchurch to Oahu Hawaii for 10 days before heading home. We're all very excited for this Epic Adventure to begin and we hope you'll follow along with us.

Wowza - so jealous!

What a great adventure this is going to be! We went to New Zealand for 3 weeks in 2004, and it is a wonderful place - you will love it. Both islands are like being constantly in a national park. Enjoy!

Love that you guys are truly living! I have been a fan for some years now and I get closer to living a very similar life in another handful of years.

Thanks, Michael, for the nice comments. Although COVID changed our travel style and plans, we're still trying to travel as much as possible.

I sure wish I could have met you and Connie at a park somewhere and just milk your brains. In my mind it seems like a fairly affordable lifestyle with what I bring in with my retirement, disability, and rental income. I just would like to hear the numbers from someone going as hard as you guys. I’m not trying to just sit at campgrounds or parking lots. I want to truly travel and see the world. Just as you have and still are. Would you be willing to chat via text or email?
