Last Monday, March 25th, we decided to move up north to Bluewater Lake State Park. We knew it was a risk with the weather, but we were looking for new scenery and new adventures. After leaving Elephant Butte State Park, we headed to the Volunteer Travel Campsites (32.3774, -106.4913) located on the White Sands Missile Range (Army Post). This is a small, 8-site RV Park located on the main portion of the Army post. It's very quiet here, with wonderful views of the Organ Mountains. We've been fairly busy here at Elephant Butte State Park near Truth or Consequences in New Mexico. We got a nice site looking out over the lake, in the distance.
