9/15/09 - Jackson Meadow Recreation Area, CA - Things have finally slowed down around here. Not many campers coming in, although the weather is still nice. Since business is slowing down. I've had to lay-off some camp hosts and reduce the work hours of the others. We're now keeping our new store open only on the weekends. Even then, it doesn't make much money. 8/20/09 - Jackson Meadow Recreation Area, CA - We have bears! For the past month or so, a bear (or more) have been visiting the campgrounds almost nightly. They're not doing much damage, other than getting into someones food. We are CONSTANTLY educating campers to lock their food up when they are not around. 3/22/2009 - Indian Valley Campground, CA: We GREATLY enjoyed our stay at Beale AFB. The campground was in a quiet section of the base. We didn't do much during that week, except relax.
