Our Jeep

Living in the desert, I'm always on the lookout for Road Runners. So it was natural to nickname my new 2001 Jeep TJ Wrangler "Wyle E".
This is the 5th Jeep I've owned, and she's started out to be the best one yet! I'm not an eXtreme rock crawler (yet), but do enjoy challenging and scenic trails of all varieties. Wyle E has proven to be a very capable off-roader with just a few modifications.
Purchased new in January 2001, here's how she started out:

Wyle E was a fairly capable four-wheeler in her stock form. I was pretty impressed with the low gearing that the 2.72:1 transfer case provided. The biggest problem was the low ground clearance, so some skid plates were immediately needed.
Wyle E currently has a Dirtroad magazine rating of 320 - "Awesome Jeep". Check your score at: www.dirtroad.com/jeeprate.htm
