E-mail: Contact 		Hello from a new full timer, the information that you have provided to the rvers has been very helpful to me. i am finally getting on the road in April. But am only going about 75mils from this area. I found a family owned campsite that is reasonable with their rates. About 950.00 for 6 months this will give me time to save some extra funds. I am thinking of doing this for a few years than get on the road for good. But I still need a place to go for the winter that is cheep like this place. I don't care where, as long as it is warm. God Bless and Happy trails

It's a little drive from PA, but there's LOTS of cheap and free camping in the Southwest for the winter.

We have been members for over four years now and being tied to our home state because of care for my mother (93 years young)hoping just to get out on the road this summer. We have stayed at two FamCamp Clear Lake @ fairchild AFB (where we use both our boat and travel trailer) and Ft Lewis Fam Camp and really like both of them. I am planning a trip to North Dakota, and from our house in WA State we will be able to stay at Fam Camp all the way.

Keep up the good work.

Hopefully forums can eventually lead to campground improvements and end-user evaluations might fold in to "Best Facilities" ratings contests on the campground's sponsoring base even though we're an unofficial source!

Carl and I are both currently active duty and will be retiring 1 May 09. We have had a our travel trailer for over a year now and LOVE IT! Though we plan to continue to work, we hope we'll have more time to enjoy it. We are new at this and really appreciate all the info your website offers.
